That’s how this verse begins, and all I can see is the word WHOLE. The 10,000 things are whole, and the country is upright. These things from ancient times arise from one: Now, what the fluff does that mean? I mean, it sounds kind of hilarious, but it’s actually pretty profound, especially for someone like me. A few days ago, I read the 39th verse of the Tao Te Ching, and though I’ve since read a few other verses, I walked away from this one with a thought I just knew I had to write about, and here it is:
